The location is great because you are in a really nice area off the touristy beaten path of Las Ramblas giving you a more local feel for Barcelona, yet, you are still just minutes away from all the main attractions by jumping on the metro, the Diagnol metro station is a two minute walk from the hotel which can drop you off on Las Ramblas in just 5 minutes, its the best of both worlds.If strolling is more your speed, the hotel is right around the corner from the citys prized boulevard Paseo de Gracia, you can stroll to Plaza Catalunya (about 20 minutes) and then on to Las Ramblas and then on to the beach.
The hotel bar and restaurant is really good and surprisingly inexpensive their breakfast buffet is a great value at only 5 euros.There is also a really great rooftop terrace to lounge on.Relax peacefully on a day bed under the large plants during the day or candlelight at night its the perfect oasis any time of day.
