Batofar is a hipster club in Paris, located on a boat in the Seine. Not your average europop disco, the Batofar caters to people in the musical know by presenting experimental hip hop, glitch, rock and techno acts as well as DJs.

Being that the club is on a boat, it has an overall industrial feeling. Pipes and metal are everywhere it is hard to tell where the functional elements of the vessel end and where the decorative additions begin. There are two bars in the performance area and one more on top.

Summer (July through September) are the best months to visit the club, as they usually open up the deck on top for drinking and socializing. Batofar is also a great after party spot on designated Saturdays, when it stays open all night and into the morning.

One more note, it is best to try and find a schedule for the club to make sure they aren't hosting a major act that potentially could have sold out the club!
